How can we help?
Answers to the questions parents ask most, how to delete your data, and how to reach a person.
Questions and answers
Who in my family can see what?
Every parent in the family can see every daughter's profile in it. A daughter 13 or older who logs for herself sees only her own profile, never a sibling's, and her screen tells her plainly that her parents can see what she logs. An adult's profile shows nothing to anyone until she joins and makes it hers; after that, her family can see her week, but only she can log or change her dates, unless she chooses to let her family log for her. Nobody outside your family can see any of it in the app.
Can Family Cycle tell me if something is wrong?
No. Family Cycle is a wellness app, not a medical one: it doesn't diagnose anything, and it isn't birth control. It names what part of the month it is and what that stretch is often like. If something is severe, lasting, or worrying you, talk to her doctor.
How does a father join?
The parent who sets up the family sends him an invitation. He installs the app, signs in and accepts it, and it costs nothing more: the family plan covers him. After that he sees the same calendar and each person's card, and with reminders on, a day or two before a new stretch of the month begins, he gets a short heads-up naming what kind of week it may be and one way to show up. When you invite him, you choose whether he helps keep the dates. If he doesn't, he can't change them, and what he reads leaves out the dates to track. Notes start once a full cycle has been logged, and opening the app every few weeks keeps them up to date.
Reminders aren't arriving. What should I check?
First, that notifications are allowed: Settings, then Notifications, then Family Cycle, and that reminders are on in the app's Reminders screen; each person turns on their own. Reminders start once a full cycle is logged for her, which setting up does on day one if you add when her last few periods started. Opening the app every few weeks keeps them scheduled. They come with the family plan, so they wait while it's off, and a grown woman can turn off reminders about her own week, which nobody else can change. If all of that looks right, write to support@familycycle.app.
Can my daughter log for herself?
If she's 13 or older, you can invite her. Before anything is linked, she's asked her birth month and year and reads exactly what her parents will see, and "Not now" is the plain choice. If she says yes, she logs from her own phone, and she can stop at any time from her account screen; her dates stay with you as they were.
What about a daughter under 13?
She doesn't use the app. Her profile is managed by her parents, who enter her dates for her. She has no sign-in, and nothing in the app asks her for anything.
Can I add myself too?
Yes. Add yourself, and your profile is yours: you decide whether your family can log for you and whether they get reminders about your week. The same is true for a partner or a grown daughter, once she joins and makes her profile her own.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, not through a support email. Any logged date can be corrected or removed. A profile can be deleted along with everything it holds. A daughter who signs in to her own profile is removed from the family first, and a grown woman's profile is hers to delete, from her profile or by deleting her account. Your whole account can be deleted from account settings, and the app shows exactly what will be removed before you confirm.
Does Family Cycle sell my data, or share it outside my family?
We never sell it and never show ads. Outside your family, the only company that handles it is Google, whose Firebase service stores it for us in the United States under contract. Google's Firebase code also sends Google limited technical information about the app's use of Firebase, with no health information in it. The app collects names, period dates and account emails, and nothing else about your family's health.
Is it only for iPhone?
Yes, for now. Family Cycle is an iPhone app and needs iOS 26.2 or later. We haven't announced any other platform.
Is it available outside the United States?
Not yet. For now, Family Cycle is offered in the United States only.
What does it cost?
Family Cycle is free to download. The family plan covers everyone in your family: the first 7 days are free, then it's $39.99 a year or $7.99 a month, whichever you choose. It renews until you cancel, which you can do any time in your Apple Account's subscription settings. Whoever starts the plan gets an email with its dates and how to cancel, and, paying yearly, two more before each renewal. Without a plan, everything your family has logged stays: you can still see it, download a copy and delete anything.
How do I cancel the family plan?
On the iPhone of whoever started it, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Family Cycle, and Cancel Subscription. In the app, Manage in Settings, under Family plan in Account, goes to the same place. Cancel at least a day before your free trial ends and you won't be charged. Everything your family has logged stays either way.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases go through Apple, so Apple handles refunds; we can't see or refund a payment ourselves. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com, signed in with the Apple Account that paid, and choose the Family Cycle purchase.
The plan doesn't show on a new phone. What do I do?
On the phone of whoever started the plan, open the app, then Account, and under Family plan tap Restore purchases. It has to be the phone signed in to the Apple Account that paid. Once it's restored, it covers everyone in your family again, and nobody else needs to do anything.
How do I reach you?
Write to support@familycycle.app. For privacy questions, privacy@familycycle.app.
Deleting your data
Everything is done in the app, and nothing needs an email to us.
A logged period
Tap one of its days, in her week or on the calendar. Correct it there, or tap Delete this period. The app asks before anything is removed.
A profile
Open the profile, tap Edit, then Delete this profile at the bottom. Everything logged for that person goes with it. An adult's profile is hers, so she deletes it herself.
Your account
Open Account and tap Delete account. The next screen lists exactly what will be removed for you before you confirm.
A deletion takes effect in our live database straight away. How long any remaining copy can last is set out in the Data Retention Schedule.

A person reads every message. Please don't send anyone's dates by email; we don't need them to help.
Your privacy rights
Anyone whose health data Family Cycle holds has the same rights, in every state. That includes a person whose dates were entered by someone else in her family. The rights belong to the person the data describes; a parent uses them on behalf of a child under 13.
- Ask what we hold, and for a copy, including a list of anyone it was shared with: Google, which stores it for us, and the family members the app's visibility rules allowed. To make it yourself, open Account and tap Download a copy of your data. Or write to privacy@familycycle.app.
- Withdraw consent: a woman who owns her profile can turn off her family's logging and reminders about her from that profile. A daughter with her own sign-in can open Account and tap Stop logging for myself. For any other profile, deleting it is how to withdraw, or write to us and we'll help.
- Delete your data: a single entry, a whole profile, or an account, from inside the app, as described above.
